Denise & Rob get hitched

On Friday June 11, I finished work in Florida and jumped on a plane to NY to attend Bobby's wedding on the 12th. Bobby "Rob" is like my little brother. My mom started babysitting him when he was 2 and continued until he was old enough to not be babysat anymore. During that time, his parents had two more kids (girls) who happened to be junior bridesmaids in my wedding. Needless to say, it was a pleasure to attend his wedding and of course take these wonderful pictures.


My brother was the best man and we made sure he embarrassed Bobby by telling the following story: When Bobby was younger, he had this stuffed animal named "Ruff, Ruff" and he couldn't sleep without it. Well we had his mom dig it out of the basement and it made an appearance at the wedding during the best man's speech. Denise's last name is Ruff, so I guess Bobby has found the true "Ruff of his life."


It was a beautiful day for such a beautiful couple. It was worth the late night flight and early morning wake up to be part of such a joyous event. I am very happy for Rob & Denise and wish them all the happiness in the future.

Raylee Elizabeth

Raylee Elizabeth was welcomed into the world on May 26 by proud parents Jeremy, Mindi and big brother Caleb. I had the opportunity to take pictures of this beautiful little girl on June 10. She was awake through the whole photo shoot and did a great job as we "played" with her to get the shots mommy wanted. As soon as I packed everything up and got it back in the car, Raylee fell asleep. Of course she waited until we were done, but that is okay. She is absolutely beautiful and I could not get enough of her. I finally got my chance to hold her after we were done with pictures and she slept in my arms until I had to force myself to leave. Mommy and Daddy are very blessed with their "sweetness." I know for sure I will be back taking more pictures of her really soon. Click on any image to view larger.

Erica & Nathan Part 2

On June 5th, we went to Disney's boardwalk to take some more engagement photos of Erica & Nathan. The whole drive there it did nothing but storm and we didn't think the weather was going to cooperate with us, but we still were going to try. When I arrived it had stopped raining and believe it or not, it did not rain the whole rest of the evening. The sky was a little BLAH, but we managed.

After taking some pictures in the heat and humidity that we all love after a summer rain, we decided to take a break and eat at the ESPN restaurant. When we were finished eating we continued to walk around the lake and get pictures wherever we thought looked good. In the end, it started to sprinkle and we decided that we wouldn't chance it by staying out any longer so we finished up.

I had a great time as always capturing the love that is obvious between this wonderful couple. Congrats again on your engagement and I cannot wait for the wedding, February 2011.

James turns 2

James Thomas turned 2 on March 4th. I had the opportunity to take his birthday pictures when I was home in NY at the beginning of April. Then this collage was created to capture his personality that day. He is growing up so fast and I cannot believe how smart he is. He can tell you that Aunt Shelly lives and Florida and that you take a plane to get there. He is talking so much and I am proud of everything he knows. I LOVE my newphew and I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as my sister and mom did.

Mother & Daughter team. My best friend Sarah and her mom Cheryl have set out on a new adventure, which I am proud to announce on my blog. Sarah has been by my side every step of the way with my business. She has helped create all my logos and taught me so much about photo editing that I never would have known without her. I thank her every chance I get for all she has done to help me grow my business. Aside from all that, she has also provided me with the use of her 3 adorable kids for me to photograph anytime that I want. Brothers - Jacob & James

Jacob & James are my nephews. While in NY I had to take every chance that I could to photograph them. I decided this would be a perfect place by the tracks and it even had an orange tractor, which was a perfect fit. This was so much fun and I had a good time putting together the following collage for them. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Erica & Nathan are Engaged

A big Congratulations for Nathan & Erica. Erica is a good friend of mine and has finally found her "soul mate." I am so happy for them and am honored that I got to take their engagement pictures. And yes of course I will be doing their wedding ones as well. The big day finally has a date, Feb. 19, 2011. Erica & Nathan met playing softball so it seemed fit that we did some sotball pictures with them. This is just a small overview of the MANY pictures we took that day. More to come from their next photo shoot, because we are not done yet! :)

Ava Michelle turns 1

On March 26 Ava Michelle turned 1 years old. I cannot believe how fast the past year went. It seems like just yesterday that I did her newborn pictures. Wow she is a little peanut still. We went to St. Cloud Lakefront and also a little park not to far from there and got these beautiful pictures. Even though she was a little under the weather, she did a fantastic job with all the different outfit changes. The weather was very sunny and a little windy so that meant some squinting eyes and a little blown hair, but overall the parents were completely pleased with the way the pictures turned out. Hope you enjoy this enjoyable milestone for Ava. Congrats on your 1st birthday and I look forward to all the milestones to come.

Cones Easter Pictures

On March 20, the Cone family decided it was a nice beautiful day to take pictures. So we went to Hollis Gardens in Lakeland, FL and got some amazing pictures. The kids were great and so excited to be able to run around and have some fun. Brinlee was full of funny faces, while Quinn and Bella just enjoyed the nice surroundings. Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Show 2-28-2010
